The Food Service Worker/Cashier plays a vital role in supporting the hospital's nutrition services by performing cashier duties and general food service tasks. This includes preparation work such as washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables, as well as ensuring that all food handling and sanitation procedures are strictly adhered to. Employees in this role are responsible for maintaining cleanliness, managing food supplies, and delivering food in accordance with established safety standards and portion control guidelines. As a cashier, this position requires handling sales transactions accurately, including making change and managing cash receipts with accountability.
