Job Duties
- Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables
- weigh and measure designated ingredients
- carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations in accordance with safety standards
- distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment
- store foods following wrapping, dating, and food safety and rotation procedures
- clean work areas, equipment and utensils
- ensure compliance with sanitation and safety requirements
- use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality and serving temperatures
- serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- interact with customers and resolve complaints
- relay relevant information to supervisor
- perform sales transactions and enter sales into the cash register
- make change and accept various forms of payment
- issue receipts and follow procedures for cash refunds
- manage cash drawer and ensure compliance with overage/shortage standards
- replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies
- maintain service area cleanliness
- perform other assigned duties
