By following approved food recipes and production standards, Food Service Workers will help maintain quality and portion control standards critical to the company’s mission of promoting healthy eating. This role also requires maintaining proper food storage procedures, replenishing service items like condiments and beverages, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations to guarantee customer safety and satisfaction.

Chartwells K12 values diversity, inclusion, and a supportive work environment. They emphasize fair employment practices and offer various benefits both for full-time and part-time associates. Part-time employees gain access to programs such as retirement plans, health and wellness initiatives, associate shopping programs, and voluntary benefits that include accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity insurance. Additionally, full-time workers enjoy comprehensive medical benefits, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, and other perks.

Working at Chartwells K12 means contributing to a purpose-driven organization that is committed to making a difference in the lives of students through nutritious food and quality service. The company fosters a collaborative environment where employees are supported to grow professionally while making a positive impact in their communities. Chartwells K12 also upholds a drug-free workplace and may require background checks for certain positions, ensuring a safe and trusted environment for all associates and students.
