The Food Service Worker role at Aramark is an essential position within the food services team, designed to support the smooth operation of food preparation and service. This role primarily involves assisting the food service manager with meal preparation, maintaining cash and meal records, and completing daily reports. The Food Service Worker is responsible for upholding high standards of food quality, sanitation, and kitchen safety to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with food safety regulations.

In this position, you will prepare a variety of quality food and baked goods following planned menus, serve meals according to schedule and department policies, and properly store food items in sanitary conditions. You will also handle kitchen equipment safely, especially knives, and add garnishments to food items to enhance customer appeal. The role includes coordinating major cleaning tasks in kitchen appliances and maintaining clean, organized workspaces to support a safe and efficient kitchen environment.

Physical demands of the role include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing. The Food Service Worker is expected to comply with uniform policies and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed to maintain health and safety standards.
