The Food Service Worker position at Aramark is a vital role focused on food and meal preparation, maintaining accurate meal records, assisting with daily reporting, and upholding stringent standards of food quality, sanitation, and kitchen safety. In this role, the worker will collaborate closely with the manager to prepare nutritious meals that meet daily menu requirements. Duties include preparing daily reports to verify transactions, supervision of food temperature control, managing food storage, and helping with major cleaning tasks such as refrigerators and steam tables. The Food Service Worker will use kitchen tools carefully, especially knives, and follow uniform and personal protective equipment policies. This role also demands physical stamina, as it involves lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing.

  • prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu
  • prepare a daily report that verifies transactions
  • understand what is inclusive of a meal
  • ensure storage of food in an accurate and sanitary manner
  • serve food according to meal schedules, department policies and procedures
  • use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives
  • timely preparation of a variety of food items, beverages, and add garnishments to ensure customer happiness and eye appeal
