The role of Food Service Worker at Aramark involves assisting with food and meal preparation while maintaining stringent standards of quality, sanitation, and kitchen safety. This position plays a critical part in supporting the food service manager by handling tasks such as maintaining cash receipts, completing daily meal records, and preparing daily transaction reports. Additionally, the Food Service Worker is responsible for the upkeep and sanitization of kitchen and serving equipment, including refrigerators, freezers, steam tables, and counters. The worker will also manage waste collection and maintain a neat, safe, and organized work environment. This role includes physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged standing or walking, and may require wearing uniforms or personal protective equipment.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage between $17.51 and $18.04. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food service preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Must be able to work flexible hours
  • Willingness to wear required uniforms and personal protective equipment

Job Duties
