The role of Food Service Worker at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center is a crucial position within the organization, focused on supporting the nutritional and wellbeing needs of the community it serves, particularly seniors. As a Food Service Worker, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for preparing scratch-made meals using a holistic and thoughtful approach that emphasizes seasonal, local, and responsibly sourced ingredients. Job Duties
- Assist in cleaning and sanitation of the food service area including setting and clearing tables
- dishwashing
- sweeping and mopping floors and performing other utility tasks
- serve meals or prepare meals for delivery using correct portioning

- follow HACCP guidelines for food handling and production
- properly store foods according to corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
