Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- Good communication skills
- Food service experience preferred
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- Physical ability to perform duties including lifting, bending, and standing
- Willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment
- Reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- Food service certificate as needed

Job Duties
- Assist the manager with food and meal preparation
- Maintain cash receipts and meal records
- Assist manager in completing daily reports
- Prepare quality food and baked goods according to planned menu
- Ensure accurate and sanitary storage of food
- Serve food according to meal schedules and departmental policies
- Use and care for kitchen equipment, especially knives
- Coordinate and assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and cooking equipment
- Adhere to food safety regulations for sanitation, handling, and storage
- Maintain a clean and organized work and storage area
- Scrub and polish counters and sanitize steam tables
- Follow cleanliness procedures including sweeping, mopping, and ware washing
- Maintain garbage collection sites and kitchen floor areas
- Connect with manager daily to prepare accurate menu
- Supervise food temperature requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned including physical demands like lifting and prolonged standing
- Adhere to uniform and personal protective equipment usage policies
