This is an on-call position with a flexible schedule where days and hours may vary, offering an hourly wage ranging from $19.50 to $20.00. The role involves preparing, presenting, and serving food to support patient and staff nourishment in this healthcare setting. Key responsibilities include food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, cutting, seeding fruits and vegetables, weighing and measuring ingredients, and carrying food items safely between work stations. The Food Service Worker also ensures food storage meets safety and sanitation guidelines, cleans work areas and utensils, distributes supplies and equipment, and serves customers efficiently and courteously. The position requires adherence to company service standards, inventory and cash control procedures, and all sanitation and safety regulations.
