The company fosters an inclusive and equal employment opportunity environment where diversity and individuality are respected and valued. Aramark does not discriminate on any protected characteristic and believes that every employee should be able to participate fully in the company's mission and daily operations.

The Food Service Worker role at Aramark is a vital position within their food services team, designed to help deliver high-quality food and meal experiences while maintaining stringent standards for cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency. This is an hourly position offering a competitive hourly wage ranging between $19.00 and $21.00, which reflects Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation as of the posting date. The company’s comprehensive benefits package supports the wellbeing of its employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plans like 401(k), paid time off such as parental leave and disability coverage, and various work-life resources.

In this role, the Food Service Worker assists the manager with food and meal preparation, ensuring all food items are prepared timely and according to planned menus with attention to quality and presentation. Sanitation and kitchen safety are paramount responsibilities that are upheld rigorously by adhering to all food safety regulations concerning storage, handling, and cleanliness. This role requires the Food Service Worker to carry out thorough cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment, food storage areas, and serving stations to uphold a safe and pleasant environment.

Beyond food preparation and sanitation, this position involves using and caring for kitchen equipment, including knives, managing food temperature requirements, and adding garnishments that enhance the visual appeal and customer satisfaction. Coordinating with the manager daily ensures accurate menu preparation, scheduling food service efficiently, and maintaining compliance with departmental policies.

Aramark recognizes the physical demands associated with this role, which may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged walking or standing. The proper use of uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) is required to maintain safety standards.
