Reporting to a Department of Food and Nutrition Services Supervisor or Manager, the Food Service Worker II is responsible for delivering meals to patient care units, assisting patients when necessary, and maintaining cleanliness and proper functioning of work areas and equipment. The position demands excellence in customer service skills, teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently under stress. This role also requires knowledge of food preparation, touchscreen technology, and the ability to assist patients with meal selection, demonstrating a caring attitude toward the sick.
