Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior food service or kitchen experience preferred
  • ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings
  • physical ability to perform lifting, bending, and prolonged standing
  • compliance with company attendance policy
  • ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Food service certificate as needed
  • sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
  • be able to work quickly and concisely under pressure

Job Duties

  • Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu
  • prepare a daily report that verifies transactions
  • understand what is inclusive of a meal
  • ensure storage of food in an accurate and sanitary manner
  • serve food according to meal schedules, department policies and procedures
  • use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives
  • undertake varied dishwashing duties
