Located at the UA Tech Park in Tucson, Arizona, the Food Service Worker position is a full-time role that offers a competitive pay range of $21.00 to $23.00 per hour. This position plays a crucial part in maintaining the high standards of Eurest's foodservice operations by supporting meal preparation, ensuring food safety and quality, and delivering excellent customer service. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours varying and further details provided during the interview process. The Food Service Worker will be responsible for a variety of duties including preparing, presenting, and serving food in accordance with company standards. Tasks involve washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables; measuring ingredients accurately; handling food safely by storing it properly and following sanitation guidelines; and maintaining clean work areas and equipment. The role demands adherence to portion control and serving temperatures based on approved recipes and production standards.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a food service or culinary environment
- ability to stand for extended periods
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work varying hours Monday through Friday
- must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- willingness to undergo drug screening and background check if applicable
- legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Duties
- Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables

- carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards
- stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures
- cleans work areas, equipment and utensils
- distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment
- utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
- serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service
- resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor
- ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures
- assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements
- performs other duties as assigned
