The company is currently hiring for full-time Food Service Worker positions at Good Sam located at 401 West 2nd Street in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This role offers a competitive pay range of $16.00 to $19.00 per hour and a full-time work schedule with hours and days that may vary, with specific details provided at the time of the interview. The Food Service Worker plays a vital role within the culinary team and is essential in preparing, presenting, and serving food to residents and guests in a courteous and efficient manner. This position requires at least one year of prior waiter or waitress experience, with senior living experience preferred, but Morrison Living is also willing to provide training to enhance the capabilities of new team members.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of one year waiter or waitress experience
- preferred experience in senior living foodservice
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving food trays
- adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations
- availability to work full time with variable hours and days
- willingness to undergo background screening and drug-free workplace compliance
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables
- weighs and measures designated ingredients
- carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards
- stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures
- cleans work areas, equipment and utensils
- distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment
- utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
- serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service
- resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor
- ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures
- assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements
- performs other duties as assigned
