Job Description

Job Requirements

  • Food service and customer service experience is preferred
  • working papers required if under 18 years of age
  • ability to follow instructions
  • ability to read and write English at a minimum 6th grade level
  • willingness to work rotating shifts
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
  • adherence to safety and sanitation regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous food service experience preferred
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to follow instructions
  • basic literacy in English at a minimum 6th grade level
  • ability to work flexible, rotating shifts
  • commitment to teamwork and professional conduct

Job Duties

  • Assist in cleaning and sanitation of the food service area including dishwashing, sweeping, and mopping
  • set and clear tables as needed
  • serve meals or prepare meals for delivery using correct portioning and presentation
  • ensure food is at the correct temperature and meets quality standards
  • follow HACCP guidelines for food handling and production
  • properly store foods according to corporate, state, and federal food safety procedures
  • maintain good working relationships with co-workers, customers, administrators, and managers
  • perform job safely and maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • adhere to St. Peter's Health Partners code of conduct
