The Food Service Worker/Cook role at GEO Secured Services is an integral, non-security related position focused on supporting the nutritional needs of facility populations through the preparation, cooking, and service of meals and beverages. - One year food production experience in commercial, military, or institutional setting preferred
- Experience in corrections or detainee management preferred
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Must be United States citizen

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook meals, prepare salads, sauces, desserts, coffee, and tea
- Serve food portions on trays or plates and pour beverages
- Perform cleaning duties such as washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment, and maintaining floor cleanliness
- Assist management with inventory counts, receive deliveries, and manage food and supply orders
- Prepare and maintain documentation including inventory pull sheets, production and service records, sanitation records, and meal delivery logs
- Assist in training and orienting staff and detainee workers
- Monitor and direct detainee workers in food service operations and sanitation duties
- Perform other duties as assigned
