The Food Service Worker position at Aramark is an essential role within the company’s food operations, focusing on preparing high-quality food and baked goods according to planned menus, maintaining kitchen sanitation standards, and assisting with meal preparation and daily reporting. This hourly position is compensated at $17.00 per hour, reflecting Aramark’s commitment to offering competitive pay for its frontline employees. Cleanliness and organization of the work area are paramount, including duties such as polishing counters, cleaning steam tables, mopping, sweeping, and maintaining the garbage collection site. The role also involves coordinating major cleaning tasks of refrigerators, freezers, cooking, and serving equipment to ensure kitchens remain hygienic and compliant with health standards.

Aramark places a strong emphasis on safety and compliance; therefore, the Food Service Worker must adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation, food handling, and storage, follow the company’s uniform policy, and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. This role may include physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing and walking. The employee will work closely with management daily to understand the menu and supervisory guidelines related to food temperature and quality.

Being part of Aramark means being part of a mission-driven company that fosters inclusivity, growth, and respect. Employees benefit from comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance programs, as well as work/life resources and retirement savings options like 401(k) plans. Paid time off, parental leave, and disability coverage are additional benefits that contribute to a supportive work environment. Aramark’s culture encourages skill development and adaptability, recognizing that job duties may evolve to meet business needs and deliver exceptional service to customers.
