The Food Service Worker role at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, Illinois, is a part-time opportunity specifically on the overnight (3rd) shift in the cafeteria. The Food Service Worker must strictly adhere to all food safety regulations regarding sanitation, food handling, and storage, comply with the uniform policy, and maintain open communication with the manager to accurately prepare the daily menu. Other duties include supervising food temperature requirements, keeping the work and storage areas clean and organized, sanitizing equipment, and ensuring a safe, balanced environment through sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, and managing garbage collection areas.

Physical demands of this role may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing. Usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniforms is required to maintain safety and hygiene standards.
