The Food Service Worker position at Aramark is a part-time role, offering around 25 hours of work per week with an hourly wage of $25.86. This position is integral to ensuring high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices. The worker will assist the manager in day-to-day food and meal preparation, maintaining cash receipts and meal records, and completing daily reports. The role demands attention to detail and strict adherence to food safety regulations, making it vital to the overall operational success of the kitchen.
Responsibilities also include preparing quality food and baked goods according to planned menus, serving food according to meal schedules and department policies, and ensuring proper storage of food items in sanitary conditions. The worker will use and care for kitchen equipment properly, including knives, and assist in major cleaning tasks for refrigerators, freezers, and cooking equipment. Additional duties involve following uniform policies, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and adhering to established procedures for cleanliness, such as mopping, sweeping, and ware washing. This role also requires some physical effort, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing, and may involve the use of personal protective equipment.

- Previous experience in food service preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
