The Food Service Worker position within McMinnville School District plays a vital role in supporting the district’s nutrition services. This is a part-time role, working 6.5 hours per day over a 183-day school year, with six paid holidays, paid sick leave, and paid flexible personal leave. Job Duties

  • Operate institutional food service equipment
  • use a computer for cashiering and other functions
  • prepare and serve a variety of foods including salads, sandwiches and vegetables
  • bake and prepare main dishes as needed
  • wash dishes, pots, pans and utensils
  • maintain equipment, serving areas and eating areas in a clean, safe and orderly condition
  • help collect lunch money and operate computerized meal accounting system
  • help inventory food and supplies
  • perform related duties as required
