The Food Service Worker position at Trinity Services Group offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about food preparation and service within a correctional facility environment. In this role, the Food Service Worker plays a vital part in accurately and efficiently preparing and serving a wide variety of food items in accordance with established recipes, menus, and food safety regulations. Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is a plus

Job Duties

  • Prepare and assist team members in the preparation of quality foods according to the planned menu, recipes, and work instructions in a timely manner
  • Clean as you go, maintain a neat and food safe workstation, pull trash, sweep, mop, and perform other cleaning duties within the facility
  • Serve food during planned meal schedules following department policies and procedures
  • Utilize kitchen utensils and equipment to cook, prepare, and serve food according to recipes and portion controls
  • Abide by all food safety regulations regarding sanitation, food handling, and storage
  • Maintain a clean work area including refrigerators, freezers, cooking equipment, and serving equipment
  • Function in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and clean
  • Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
