The role demands a strong understanding of food safety, proper use of kitchen equipment, and compliance with health regulations including HIPAA. In addition, Food Service Workers contribute to maintaining a clean and safe dining environment, handling inventory, and ensuring proper sanitation practices in all food service areas. While no previous experience is required, some familiarity with kitchen operations, especially within a healthcare setting, is preferred. The position also requires excellent communication, organization skills, the ability to work under pressure and stay flexible, and demonstrated customer service excellence. Waterview Hills Campus fosters an inclusive and diverse work environment where every employee is valued. They encourage COVID-19 vaccinations but do not mandate them, adapting to CDC guidelines to safeguard employees and residents.
