This full-time, hourly employment opportunity offers a competitive pay range between $19.08 and $25.99 per hour, reflecting the value the company places on skilled food service professionals. In this role, you will do much more than simply prepare and serve food. Your duties will span multiple areas such as patient tray preparation, food safety and sanitation, stocking, customer service, and teamwork at special events and retail food operations. \n\nAs a Food Service Worker, your daily responsibilities will include assembling patient trays and carts with precision, maintaining clean and stocked kitchen and pantry areas, adhering to strict food safety and quality standards, and providing an engaging, friendly, and professional customer service experience. You will also handle grilling and cafeteria duties, collaborate closely with other staff members to deliver efficient service, and demonstrate adaptability by managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while keeping a calm and composed demeanor. Physical fitness is important as the position requires standing, walking, bending, and squatting for extended periods, along with flexibility in working hours and locations based on business needs. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Food service experience in a food or hospitality service operation or institutional food service role
Current Food Handler's Certificate/Card for applicable County/State
Able to relate to others with courtesy and tact under normal as well as stressful conditions
Ability to bend, squat, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
Flexible with working hours and locations based on business needs

Job Qualifications

Food service experience in a food or hospitality service operation, or institutional food service role
An equivalent combination of education in a restaurant, catering, or retail operation and/or sanitation and dishwashing experience
Customer service experience
Able to relate to others with courtesy and tact under normal as well as stressful conditions
Tray-line or room service experience is a plus
Basic familiarity with computers preferred
Current Food Handler's Certificate/Card for applicable County/State

Job Duties

Prepare and assemble patient food trays and carts with attention to detail and according to department standards
Perform routine cleaning and stocking of pantries and kitchen areas
Follow established recipes, label and date all prepared and stored food items, and adhere to safety and sanitation standards
Provide excellent service in the cafeteria and during special events
engage with guests and staff in a friendly and professional manner
Prepare grilled foods and serve meals according to order specifications
Work effectively with other staff to deliver quality meal service on time, hot, and in accordance with safety protocols
Handle multiple tasks and maintain composure in fast-paced or stressful situations
Ability to bend, squat, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
