The role of Guest Service Associate, Mobile Ordering Expert, is central to Aramark’s campus dining operations. This position focuses on delivering an exceptional guest experience by managing and supporting the mobile ordering process. Serving as the primary point of contact for guests using mobile ordering services, the Mobile Ordering Expert ensures that all orders are accurate, timely, and presented in accordance with the high standards of the Harvest Table Culinary Group. This job involves a dynamic mix of guest interaction, order verification, quality assurance, and efficient operational management.

The Guest Service Associate will assist guests with mobile order placement, reservations, and order pickup. They will oversee restaurant capacity, manage walk-ins, and handle guest check-in processes. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential as the associate verifies guest identity and order correctness prior to order fulfillment. Quality assurance checks help maintain the impeccable standards of food presentation and satisfaction. The role also requires handling any discrepancies or special requests, coordinating meal remakes when necessary, and managing pick-up times to avoid delays.

In this position, the Mobile Ordering Expert will also engage in service recovery techniques using WEST and LEARN methods to address guest concerns professionally and effectively. Handling cash transactions and maintaining transaction accuracy, understanding meal plans, dining dollars, discounts, and payment methods are also vital components of the role. Additionally, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with food safety, sanitation, and uniform standards is mandatory.

The Guest Service Associate role is physically active, requiring standing, walking, bending, lifting, and frequent use of digital technology like tablets and point-of-sale systems. Job Duties

  • Complete all required Service Excellence and YES Inspired Culture training programs
  • Assist guests with mobile ordering, reservations, and order pickup
  • Manage restaurant capacity, walk-ins, and guest check-in processes
  • Verify guest identity and order accuracy before releasing orders
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on all completed meals
  • Confirm all special requests and modifications have been fulfilled
  • Communicate order discrepancies and request meal remakes when necessary
  • Monitor pickup times and follow procedures for late orders
  • Address guest concerns using WEST and LEARN service recovery methods
  • Process refunds and issue Magic Meal coupons when appropriate
  • Drive Voice of the Consumer (VOC) participation and feedback collection
  • Understand meal plans, dining dollars, discounts, and payment methods
  • Perform cashier duties and maintain transaction accuracy
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and uniform standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
