MemorialCare is currently seeking a Food Service Worker to join their kitchen department in Laguna Hills. This part-time position offers a day shift schedule with a competitive pay range of $23.00 to $28.64 per hour. The role is essential for ensuring the smooth and cost-effective preparation, assembly, and delivery of food services to patients, cafeteria patrons, and physician lounges within the health system. The worker is expected to perform multiple entry-level tasks including food assembly, operation of service equipment, and preparation of enteral feedings, including those for infants. Maintaining high standards in sanitation and warewashing is a critical component of this role.

The Food Service Worker must demonstrate a strong commitment to accuracy by properly receiving and storing food supplies, following standardized recipes consistent with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards, and producing forecasted and special tally items without over or under production. The position requires adherence to strict safety and sanitation protocols to ensure food is served accurately and safely. Responsibilities include stocking patient floors according to predetermined par levels while maintaining detailed records. Punctuality, adherence to company policies, and an ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment are also vital.
