The role of Food Service Worker at SodexoMagic, based at Jackson State University, is a full-time position with a competitive pay range from $13.00 to $23.44 per hour. This position requires a flexible schedule with varying shifts and open availability preferred. The Food Service Worker is a crucial member of the SodexoMagic team, acting as both a helpful support presence and a vibrant mood enhancer for customers and peers alike. The primary responsibilities include preparing and serving a wide variety of vibrant menu items, maintaining cleanliness and order in food preparation and service areas, and delivering excellent customer service that enhances the dining experience.

This role offers the opportunity to work anywhere on the property where food is prepared or served and involves tasks such as setting up food stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, and utensils, assisting in the setup and serving of food from counters and steam tables, and performing cleaning and sanitizing duties for equipment and workstations. The Food Service Worker must be punctual, reliable, and adaptable to meet the needs of various accounts and client requirements.
