Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to follow written instructions
  • prior experience in food service or similar environment preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and the covid 19 virus or provide valid exemption
  • ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • physical capability to perform duties including standing for extended periods

Job Duties

  • provide support for the main kitchen of the food and nutrition department including set up all stations and perform positions
  • break down stations completely ensuring they are cleaned and sanitized
  • perform floor stock procedures
  • clean and sanitize equipment and food surfaces according to procedures
  • assure that all food items are accurately dated, labeled, and rotated prior to storage and or placed for sale
  • use proper utensils to ensure accurate portions
  • perform other reasonable duties as assigned
