The Food Service Supervisor role at Trinity Services Group is an essential leadership position within correctional facility food operations. The successful candidate will oversee and direct a team composed of both inmate laborers and staff in daily food preparation, service, and sanitation activities. This position requires someone who is passionate about food service and is knowledgeable about food handling regulations and safety standards. The supervisor will be expected to plan, monitor, and ensure the quality of food served aligns with prescribed menus and nutritional guidelines while maintaining strict compliance with sanitation protocols. The role requires a hands-on leader capable of operating kitchen utensils and equipment safely and efficiently, as well as training and guiding team members and inmate labor to perform tasks correctly and promptly.

Food Service Supervisors at TSG play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe and healthy kitchen environment by implementing rigorous cleaning schedules, managing waste disposal, and ensuring that all food items are stored appropriately to prevent contamination or spoilage. The position demands physical stamina and the ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Dependability, flexibility, and an ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment are critical attributes. TSG places strong emphasis on promoting a positive work culture that supports the welfare and safety of all employees and inmates involved in food service.

This role also offers substantial benefits aimed at improving overall employee wellbeing, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, and voluntary benefits such as disability insurance. Additionally, employees earn paid time off, company matches on a 401(k) retirement savings plan, and benefit credits that help offset healthcare costs.
