The Food Service Worker role at Aramark is a vital position within the food service team, focused on supporting the manager with food and meal preparation, maintaining meal records and cash receipts, and assisting with daily reporting. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food service certificate as needed
  • Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to work quickly and concisely under pressure
  • Ability to lift and perform physical tasks including bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
  • Willingness to adhere to uniform and personal protective equipment policies
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices

Job Qualifications

  • Food service certificate as needed
  • Sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Be able to work quickly and concisely under pressure

Job Duties

  • Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu
  • Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions
  • Understand what is inclusive of a meal
  • Ensure storage of food in an accurate and sanitary manner
  • Serve food according to meal schedules, department policies and procedures
  • Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives
  • Timely preparation of a variety of food items, beverages, and add garnishments to ensure customer happiness and eye appeal
