Job Requirements
- At least one year of previous food service experience
- Ability to work on an on-call schedule with varying days and hours
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying food pans
- Must be able to work at Providence Health Sacred Heart location
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Willingness to maintain a drug-free workplace
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum one year of previous food service experience
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation
- Ability to follow approved recipes and portion control guidelines
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible on-call hours
- Capability to lift and carry heavy food items safely
Job Duties
- Prepares fruits and vegetables by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding
- Weighs and measures designated ingredients
- Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food safely to and from stations
- Stores food following wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures
- Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment
- Serves customers efficiently and resolves customer concerns
- Ensures compliance with sanitation, safety, and company service standards
