- ability to follow detailed instructions
- capacity to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
- willingness to comply with food safety regulations
- ability to work well as part of a team
- good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food service or hospitality is an advantage
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- excellent customer service skills
- basic math skills for portion control and inventory
- knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is beneficial
- strong communication skills
- bilingual is a plus
Job Duties
- follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items
- maintain proper and adequate set-up of the kitchen/station on a daily basis
- requisition and stock all required food, paper products, and condiments
- handle, store, and rotate all products properly
- set up, maintain, clean, and breakdown machinery and equipment
- maintain stock, cut, and store all perishables daily to ensure product quality
- complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required
- take responsibility for quality of products served
- perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor
- other duties as assigned
