Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Food safety certification required within 90 days of job entry
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform sanitation and dish room duties
  • Ability to handle food sales and payment transactions

  • Previous relevant experience in food service or healthcare setting preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare, assemble, and deliver patient meals according to quality, service, infection control, and food safety standards
  • Deliver stock supplies to patient floor kitchens
  • Serve guests, maintaining positive customer and guest relations
  • Replenish used foods and supplies appropriately
  • Complete sanitation duties
  • Perform dish room duties daily
  • Collect payments for guest trays and handle food sales transactions as a cafeteria cashier
  • Set up and serve meals for corporate retail, catering, Doctors Dining Room, and other dining outlets
  • Decorate buffet and reception tables as assigned
  • Support coworkers by efficiently managing food service responsibilities and participate in training others
