The available role at Baptist Health involves preparing, assembling, and delivering patient meals that meet stringent quality, service, infection control, and food safety standards. This position plays a key role in patient satisfaction by ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of meals and the replenishment of supplies on patient floors. Responsibilities include serving guests and maintaining positive customer relations, performing daily sanitation and dishroom duties, handling payments for guest trays, and managing food sales transactions in the cafeteria as a cashier. Additional duties involve setting up and serving meals for corporate retail, catering events, Doctors Dining Room, and other dining outlets, as well as decorating buffet and reception tables as required. This role is vital in supporting the overall safety, comfort, and satisfaction of patients and guests, embodying the organization's high standards for food preparation and service.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Food safety certification required within 90 days of employment
- Less than 1 year of relevant experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Prepare, assemble and deliver patient meals in accordance with quality, service, infection control, and food safety standards
- Deliver stock supplies to the patient floor kitchens
- Serve guests, maintaining positive customer/guest relations
- Appropriately replenish used foods and supplies
- Complete sanitation duties daily
- Perform dish room duties as assigned
- Collect payments for guest trays and handle food sales transactions as a cashier
- Set up and serve meals for corporate retail, catering, Doctors Dining Room, and other dining outlets
- Decorate buffet and reception tables as assigned
