The role available is a patient meal services position, responsible for preparing, assembling, and delivering meals to patients while adhering to the highest standards of quality, service, infection control, and food safety. This role is critical in ensuring patients receive timely and nutritious meals that support their recovery and comfort. In addition to meal preparation, the role involves delivering stock supplies to patient floor kitchens, serving guests with exceptional customer service, replenishing food and supplies as needed, and completing sanitation duties daily. The position also requires performing dish room tasks and managing cash transactions for food sales in the cafeteria and other dining outlets according to established procedures.
This multifaceted position supports various food service venues including corporate retail, catering, and doctors dining rooms, with tasks such as setting up and serving meals, and decorating buffet and reception tables. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, teamwork, and a customer-centric mindset, ensuring a safe and satisfying dining experience for patients and guests. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food safety certification within 90 days of employment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Less than 1 year of experience

Job Duties
- Prepare assemble and deliver patient meals in accordance with quality service infection control and food safety standards
- Deliver stock supplies to the patient floor kitchens
- Serve guests maintaining positive customer and guest relations
- Appropriately replenish used foods and supplies
- Complete sanitation duties
- Perform dish room duties daily
- Collect payments for guest trays and handle transactions for food sales in the cafeteria
