Job Requirements
- Able to read and interpret directions on packages and can labels
- Able to do basic arithmetic
- Knowledge of weights and measures
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Formal training through food service courses preferred
- One year of food service work experience preferred
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare basic food items for patient and customer service
- Assemble and portion meals according to established guidelines
- Stock and distribute food supplies efficiently
- Sanitize utensils, dishes, and food service equipment
