The Food Service Team Member role is an essential position within Aramark's event operations team, responsible for the smooth execution of catering orders and events. This role entails a variety of tasks including setting up event spaces according to client specifications and banquet orders, transporting food, equipment, and supplies safely to event locations, serving guests with excellent customer service, and ensuring that the event areas meet sanitation and safety standards. The Food Service Team Member plays a critical part in maintaining the availability of food and beverages throughout events, organizing tables, chairs, and buffet lines as stipulated in the event plans, and dismantling setups after service concludes.
This role requires physical stamina as it involves lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for extended periods. Team members are expected to comply with uniform and dress policies and must complete Food Handling and Alcohol Service training to ensure all health and safety standards are met. The position often requires working evenings and weekends to support various events effectively. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for extended periods
- Adhere to uniform policies and wear required personal protective equipment as directed
- Completion of Food Handling and Alcohol Service training is mandatory
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- Ability to work independently
- Compliance with company dress code

Job Duties
- Prepare catering and event areas according to client specifications and banquet orders
