Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Age 18 or older
- Previous retail experience preferred but not required
- Strong interest and knowledge of the food service business
- Ability to lead and hold others accountable
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
- Effective communication skills
- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
- Interpret instructions, reports and information
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb up and down ladders as needed
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds

Job Duties
- Understand sales goals, plan and execute daily/weekly workload to deliver department and store sales goals and guest engagement
- Work a schedule that aligns to guest and business needs (including early morning, evening, overnight shifts and weekends)
- Assign daily tasks to team members based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns
- Assess food service back of house, production areas, dining spaces and merchandising spaces to ensure food safety and proper inventory levels
- Walk Food & Beverage Standards and Food Service routines daily to assess priorities and review reporting to identify business gaps for follow-up
- Follow all food safety requirements and cleaning routines including monitoring and recording temperature sensitive food items
- Validate and follow-up on team members progress against department checklists and routines
- Lead team to uphold and maintain all Starbucks and Pizza Hut Brand Standards and production specifications
- Foster a productive relationship with your Starbucks district manager and attend required in-store planning and business meetings
- Ensure accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders according to best practices
- Follow proper perishable inventory management procedures to ensure accurate recording of inventory
- Make production quantity decisions to ensure freshness, in-stocks, sales and profitability
- Remain up-to-date on relevant trends and products to educate team members
- Participate in team hiring and onboarding processes
- Establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable to expectations
- Complete all Starbucks and/or Pizza Hut training requirements and certifications
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
- Lead and demonstrate a safety culture and hold team accountable to safety expectations
- Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and creating equitable experiences
- Model the execution of physical security processes
- Support merchandise protection strategies
- Follow all safe and secure training and processes as a key carrier if applicable
- Address all store emergency and compliance needs
- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up and Drive-up and maintain compliance with laws
- Model creating a welcoming experience by greeting guests
- Demonstrate how to engage with guests and help solve their needs
- Lead by thanking guests and showing appreciation
- Perform other duties based on business needs
