Within Target, the Food & Beverage team plays a vital role in ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience for guests. This team is responsible for maintaining product freshness, stock availability, pricing accuracy, and promotional signing in all Food & Beverage areas of the store. Focused on operational excellence, process efficiency, and guest satisfaction, the Food & Beverage team manages replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, and pricing strategies.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail experience preferred but not required
- Strong interest and knowledge of food service business
- Ability to lead and hold others accountable
- Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate technology equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
- Capability to remain focused and composed in fast-paced environments
- Possess a welcoming and helpful attitude
- Effective communication skills
- Access all areas of the building as needed
- Ability to handle cash register operations
- Ability to climb ladders if needed
- Ability to safely lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work in refrigeration and freezer conditions
- Ability to work in varied temperatures and humidity
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Strong interest and knowledge of the food service business
- Leadership skills including interviewing, training, coaching and evaluating
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work variable schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- Certification in food safety management preferred
- Experience with inventory management and sales tracking
- Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology
Job Duties
- Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience
- Ensure every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments and consistent operations
- Review area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities and take action
- Plan and execute daily/weekly workload to meet department and store sales goals and guest engagement
- Assign tasks to team members based on workload and guest traffic patterns
- Assess food service areas for food safety and inventory levels
- Follow all food safety requirements and cleaning routines
- Lead team to uphold Starbucks and Pizza Hut brand standards and production specifications
- Ensure accurate in-stocks by placing store orders and managing perishable inventory
- Participate in team hiring, onboarding and talent development
- Model a culture of ethical conduct, safety, compliance, inclusivity and best practices
- Support merchandise protection and store security protocols
- Occasionally assume store-level leadership on duty responsibilities and support guest services
- Address all store emergency and compliance needs
- Perform all other duties based on business needs
