Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Two or more years of experience in food service preferred
  • One or more years of experience in teaching or training new hires in multiple areas preferred
  • Food Safety Manager Certificate required, must obtain within ninety days if not already held

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and lead the operation of Food & Nutrition Services across three campus locations
  • Oversee daily production and ensure the quality of food products
  • Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and standards
  • Manage sanitation and food code compliance for the department and service areas
  • Train and guide new hires in multiple areas of food service
  • Monitor staff performance and promote a culture of safety and quality
  • Collaborate with hospital departments to maintain smooth food service operations
