Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Strong interest and knowledge of the food service business
- Ability to lead and hold others accountable
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and closing shifts
- Ability to remain mobile and work in refrigeration and freezer conditions
- Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise up to 44 pounds safely
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Capability to work in fast-paced, physically demanding environments
- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
- Interpret instructions, reports, and information
- Ability to handle cash register operations if needed
- Climb up and down ladders as required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail experience preferred but not required
- Strong interest and knowledge of the food service business
- Leadership experience with ability to hold others accountable
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Experience or ability in using multi-frequency communication devices and handheld technology
- Completion of Starbucks and/or Pizza Hut training requirements and certifications as applicable
- Demonstrated ethical conduct and commitment to safety
Job Duties
- Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience
- Ensure every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers on Target's guest experience commitments and consistent operations
- Actively observe and provide feedback, holding team members accountable while recognizing great guest experience moments
- Review area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, take action to improve and align team on the right behaviors and execution
- Understand sales goals, plan and execute daily/weekly workload to deliver department and store sales goals and guest engagement
- Assign daily tasks to team members based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns
- Assess Food Service back of house, production, dining, and merchandising areas to ensure food safety and proper inventory levels
- Follow all food safety requirements and cleaning routines, monitoring and recording temperature sensitive food items
- Validate and follow-up on team members' progress against department checklists and routines
- Lead team to uphold and maintain all Starbucks and Pizza Hut Brand Standards and production specifications
- Ensure accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders according to best practices
- Manage proper perishable inventory procedures
- Make production quantity decisions to ensure freshness, in-stocks, sales and profitability
- Stay up-to-date on relevant trends and products to educate team members
- Participate in team hiring and onboarding processes
- Establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable
- Complete all Starbucks and/or Pizza Hut training requirements and certifications
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance, leading team to work in the same way
- Lead and demonstrate a safety culture through modeling safe behaviors, identifying hazards, holding team accountable, and assisting with incident response
- Foster inclusivity and respect, creating equitable experiences
- Help close skill gaps through coaching and team interactions
- Model physical security processes and support merchandise protection strategies
- Occasionally assume store-level leadership on duty responsibilities
- Address all store emergency and compliance needs
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup, and Drive-up while maintaining compliance culture
- Perform all other duties based on business needs.
