Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous food service experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitary regulations
- Ability to supervise and train staff
- Basic math skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Job Qualifications
- Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- Must complete a sanitation course before or during first year
- Knowledgeable in operating cost-effective food service programs
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Maintain emotional control under stress
- Ability to resolve interpersonal situations
- Strong organizational skills
Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules
- prepare production packets
- Direct daily activities
- Maintain food production safety and quality
- Ensure safe and organized food storage
- Maintain serving schedules and food service standards
- Ensure sanitary department conditions
- Maintain accurate inventory weekly
- Prepare orders to ensure production accuracy
- Supervise and evaluate employees
- Promote employee growth and teamwork
- Maintain safe working environment
- Train and mentor food service workers
- Maintain equipment maintenance logs
- Complete food safety and temperature logs
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Recommend equipment replacements
- Multi-task effectively
- Fill in for absent employees
- Manage daily catering events
- Work occasional night and weekend catering events
- Attend food service meetings
- Maintain communication with staff
- Perform cashier duties as needed
- Promote good public relations
