Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
  • Completion of sanitation course before or during first year
  • Ability to work full-time hours including occasional nights and weekends
  • Strong communication skills
  • Capability to supervise and mentor staff
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Commitment to maintaining food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English
  • Bilingual abilities preferred but not required
  • Completion of a sanitation course before or during first year
  • Knowledgeable in operating an efficient, cost-effective program
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic
  • Ability to maintain emotional control under stress
  • Ability to resolve interpersonal situations
  • Strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
  • Direct daily food service activities
  • Maintain food production safety and quality according to policies
  • Ensure safe and organized food storage
  • Maintain serving schedules and compliance with menu specifications
  • Maintain sanitary conditions following health codes
  • Manage weekly inventory and prepare orders
  • Supervise and evaluate employees, promoting growth and teamwork
  • Maintain a safe and hazard-free workplace
  • Train and mentor food service workers
  • Log maintenance needs and perform preventative maintenance
  • Ensure completion of food safety and temperature logs
  • Recommend equipment replacement
  • Multitask proficiently
  • Cover for absent employees as needed
  • Manage catering events and attend food service meetings
  • Maintain communication with staff
  • Perform cashier duties as necessary
  • Promote good public relations
