The role of Fresh Foods Supervisor at Global Partners is vital to the deli/food service department. This position involves directing and supervising all department activities and personnel to meet merchandising, sales, and customer service goals set forth. As a fresh foods supervisor, the successful candidate will bring a minimum of two years food service management experience, coupled with a genuine passion for food and customer engagement. The role requires proficiency in scheduling team members, coaching new hires, and maintaining food safety compliance across all operations.

This supervisory position offers a competitive hourly wage from $16.82 to $20.24, depending on experience and expertise. Candidates are expected to have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old. The role demands working flexibility across weekends, holidays, and evenings and may also require assisting at other locations as needed. Physical requirements include the ability to lift 25 lbs occasionally, work in refrigerated environments, and operate food preparation equipment such as slicers, ovens, and fryers.

The Fresh Foods Supervisor manages all facets of deli/food service preparation including breakfast, lunch, dinner entrees, fried foods, pizzas, salads, soups, sandwiches, and beverage service. Responsibilities extend to product rotation, inventory audits, paperwork accuracy, and ensuring exceptional customer service through active engagement and product knowledge. This role requires excellent communication skills, a helpful and courteous demeanor, and an ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 18 years old
  • minimum two years prior fresh foods management experience

  • reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • process cash register transactions and refunds
  • operate scale printer machines
  • monitor product pricing and signage
  • maintain clean and organized sales and prep areas
  • ensure use of safety equipment and procedures
  • perform other duties as assigned
