Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years relevant experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Friendly customer service orientation
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Willingness to obtain California Food Handler Certification within 30 days of hire
  • Reliable availability including weekends

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience in fast-casual restaurant, deli, or upscale food service environment
  • Prior leadership or shift lead experience highly preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Friendly customer-first attitude
  • Ability to maintain a sense of urgency and calm under pressure
  • Willingness to obtain California Food Handler Certification within 30 days of hire

Job Duties

  • Lead the floor during peak lunch and dinner rushes to balance tickets and maintain smooth operational flow
  • Monitor the floor constantly and direct or assist team members to support busy stations
  • Conduct regular walk-throughs to maintain cleanliness and stocking of beverage stations
  • Ensure quality control so every sandwich and salad meets premium standards
  • Manage register drawer counts and secure the facility during opening and closing
  • Prepare the shop for the next shift by ensuring cleanliness and organization
  • Foster a customer-first attitude and proactive teamwork
