Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 2 years of related experience in food service
- Leadership or shift lead experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency
- Willingness to obtain California Food Handler Certification within 30 days
- Reliable availability including weekends
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in fast-casual or upscale food service
- Proven leadership or shift lead experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Customer-first attitude
- Ability to remain calm and maintain a sense of urgency under pressure
- Willingness to obtain California Food Handler Certification if not already certified
Job Duties
- Lead the floor during peak rushes to balance tickets and maintain low ticket times
- Proactively monitor the floor and assist team members to ensure smooth operations
- Conduct regular walk-throughs to maintain cleanliness and stocked beverage stations
- Ensure every sandwich and salad meets premium quality standards before serving
- Manage register drawer counts and secure the facility during opening and closing
- Prepare and clean the shop thoroughly for the next shift
- Foster a supportive and customer-focused environment on the floor
