The Food Service Supervisor role at Aramark is a full-time position with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $24.50 to $25.00. This position places the selected candidate in a leadership role within Aramark's Food Services Team, where they will work closely with a manager to coordinate and lead daily operations. The Food Service Supervisor's responsibilities include overseeing staff, ensuring food safety and quality, managing inventory, maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment, and supporting the overall efficiency of food service operations.
In this supervisory capacity, the Food Service Supervisor will produce work schedules, prepare production packets such as production sheets and recipes, and direct daily activities to ensure smooth and efficient food service. The role requires attention to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality according to company policies and department requirements. The supervisor will ensure that food is stored safely and served according to menu specifications following Aramark's guidelines.
This position also demands strong leadership skills to supervise and evaluate employees, promote teamwork, and encourage employee growth and morale. The supervisor will handle counseling, training, and mentoring of food service workers and maintain communication with staff, including office personnel, to keep all operations coordinated.
Additionally, the Food Service Supervisor is responsible for maintaining accurate weekly inventory, preparing orders as needed to meet production demands, and ensuring all equipment maintenance logs and preventative maintenance checklists are up to date. They will fill in for absent employees and assist with cashier duties when necessary. The role may require working occasional nights and weekends to support catered events, ensuring these are well-prepared and delivered on time.
This position requires proficiency in multi-tasking and the ability to maintain emotional control under stress. The Food Service Supervisor must have strong organizational skills, basic arithmetic ability, and the capacity to resolve interpersonal situations effectively. Job Requirements

- prior experience in food service supervision or related field preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- effective communication skills
- basic computer literacy
- ability to train and mentor staff
- knowledge of health and safety regulations
- physical capability to perform job duties
- completion of sanitation course within specified time frame
- valid work authorization
