Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
- ability to read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- completion of sanitation course before or within the first year of employment
- basic arithmetic skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
- strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- availability to work occasional night and weekend events

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets including production sheets and recipes
- direct daily activities
- maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies and department requirements
- ensure food items are stored safely and organized
- maintain serving schedules ensuring food items are served per menu specifications safely
- maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes and regulations
- maintain accurate inventory weekly
- prepare orders as needed for accurate production
- supervise and evaluate employees including counseling and promoting growth
- maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
- train and mentor food service workers
- maintain maintenance logs on equipment
- ensure completion of food safety and temperature logs with corrective action
- perform preventative maintenance checklists
- recommend replacement of equipment
- perform multi-tasking proficiently
- perform other duties as requested by Food Service Director or Manager
- fill in for absent employees as necessary
- maintain knowledge and timely delivery of daily catering events
- work occasional night and weekend catered events
- attend food service meetings
