Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service or supervision preferred
  • Completion or willingness to complete a sanitation course
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as required
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Ability to train and mentor staff

Job Qualifications

  • Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
  • Completion of a sanitation course before or during first year
  • Knowledge in operating efficient, cost-effective programs
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic
  • Maintain emotional control under stress
  • Ability to resolve interpersonal situations
  • Strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
  • Direct daily activities
  • Maintain food production safety and quality
  • Ensure safe and organized food storage
  • Maintain serving schedules per menu specifications
  • Uphold sanitary conditions following health and safety codes
  • Maintain accurate weekly inventory
  • Prepare orders to ensure accurate production
  • Supervise, evaluate, counsel, and promote employee growth and teamwork
  • Maintain a safe working environment
  • Train and mentor staff
  • Keep maintenance logs for equipment
  • Complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective action
  • Perform preventative maintenance checks
  • Recommend equipment replacements
  • Multi-task efficiently
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Fill in for absent employees
  • Coordinate daily catering events
  • Work occasional night and weekend events
  • Attend food service meetings
  • Maintain staff communication
  • Perform cashier duties when needed
  • Promote good public relations
