Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
  • Direct daily activities
  • Maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies
  • Ensure safe and organized food storage
  • Maintain serving schedules per menu specifications
  • Adhere to sanitary department standards following health and safety codes
  • Maintain accurate weekly inventory
  • Prepare orders to ensure accurate production
  • Supervise and evaluate employees, promote growth and teamwork
  • Maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
  • Train and mentor food service workers
  • Keep logs of equipment maintenance
  • Complete all food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions
  • Perform preventative maintenance checklist
  • Recommend equipment replacement
  • Multi-task proficiently
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Food Service Director or Manager
  • Fill in for absent employees as needed
  • Maintain knowledge of catering events and ensure timely preparation and delivery
  • Work occasional night and weekend catered events
  • Attend food service meetings
  • Maintain communication with staff
  • Perform cashier duties when necessary
  • Promote good public relations
