Aramark is a global leader in food service, facilities management, and uniform services, proudly serving millions of guests daily across 15 countries. With a deep commitment to service and a united purpose, Aramark focuses on doing great things for its employees, partners, communities, and the planet. The company fosters a culture that values equal employment opportunity and inclusivity, ensuring that every employee feels valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their best. Aramark believes that a career should develop an individual's talents, fuel their passions, and empower professional growth. This ethos makes the company a preferred employer for those seeking a dynamic workplace where they can thrive and make a meaningful impact.
The role we are hiring for is a full-time Food Service Supervisor position, integral to our passionate Food Services Team. This role is designed for individuals ready to step up their careers and lead the way in food service operations. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work alongside a manager to help coordinate and lead day-to-day operations. You will oversee staff, collaborate closely with your teammates, and step in wherever needed to ensure smooth operations. This position is pivotal in maintaining the quality, safety, and efficiency of food service while promoting an environment that encourages teamwork and continuous personal and professional growth.
Your responsibilities will include producing and maintaining work schedules, managing food production processes to comply with safety and quality standards, and ensuring that food items are stored properly in a safe and hazard-free environment. You will supervise and evaluate employees, fostering employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork. Maintaining a sanitary department that aligns with health and safety regulations is another critical aspect of the role. You will also maintain accurate inventory records, prepare orders to meet production needs, and ensure that all food safety logs are accurately completed with any necessary corrective actions.
Additionally, you will play a vital role in equipment maintenance by completing preventative maintenance checklists, recommending replacements when necessary, and keeping logs of required maintenance. The position requires proficiency in multitasking and the flexibility to cover for absent employees. You will also ensure that daily catering events are successfully prepared and delivered on time, including occasional night and weekend events. Communication with staff and participating in food service meetings are key components of the role, along with promoting good public relations and occasionally performing cashier duties.
This job is not just about managing food service; it is about developing new skills, contributing positively to the workplace, and making a significant impact on both colleagues and customers. Aramark supports employees in their career growth and encourages skill development, providing a supportive environment where changes in job duties may occur to meet organizational needs. If you are passionate about leading a team in a dynamic food service environment and eager to grow your career with a world-class company, this Food Service Supervisor position offers an exciting opportunity to shine and make a difference.
